KANA and I did a retake of an old video recording. I made some changes to the piano's sound and playability and wanted to get some feedback on what people thought of the changes; we'd love to hear what you think!

Oh, the dog, BTW, turned 12 today: Happy Birthday Katy!

Wow and I mean WOW. What a pleasure to listen to such superb playing. Your vision of this piece is exactly how I like it, the dynamics and rubato especially were fantastic.

Hi, joonsang, A443 -- +1 on your assessment and playing -- this is a Cadillac performance of an old classical "warhorse".
This presentation IMO demonstrates that the Liebestraume is really one of Liszt's finer pieces, in addition to its being his most popular.

On another topic -- joonsang, I left you several suggestions for the Piano Suite thread. In addition, Darius Milhaud's "Saudades" is another possibility.

Very sensitive, meditative and romantic, with passion when needed. It is quite lovely seeing your friend there bathed in the sound. I used to have a dog that would howl during the most vehement passages of one of the Scriabin Op. 11 preludes. I always assumed that to have been applause rather than an articulation of displeasure. She was too big to sit on the piano, but I did try to give her some music education nonetheless.
