This piece consists of three sections, which represent in miniature the three movements of a sonata.

Enjoy. smile

I enjoy when recordings are posted with the score. It's good to listen and read at the same time.

What about the piece itself?

I'm currently writing a group of preludes but I'll give it a listen in a moment.

I like this song. It has a bit of a jazzy feel to it even though it's not necessarily written in that style.

Thank you for sharing this. It was quite an enjoyable piece and it sounded both creative and unique. I liked the combination of jazz and classical elements in it that gave it a fun, almost Copland feel.
The only major critique I would have was that I felt the piece was a little too compacted. I would've like to hear each idea breathe a little more, as the rapid transition from one melody to the next seemed a tad awkward at times. I really felt that the piece would be more suitable in a longer length, where each movement can be properly introduced.
However, this was a very nice piece of music and I enjoyed your recording very much. Please post more of your works in the future.

Like the others I enjoyed this piece, especially that it was accompanied by a recording. It struck me as a bit of a bagatelle. I agree with the sentiment that a plethora of ideas come and go quickly and that the piece might be more successful overall if each section was expanded on a bit.

Surely you jest! I don't want to discourage Polyphonist from posting, but this comment reminded me of one made by a famous conductor about trombones. He said "Never look at the trombones, it only encourages them!" Given the copious pieces Polyphonist has posted in the last month I don't think we need to worry about his being prolific.

Seriously Polyphonist keep up the good work!

Made a recording of this. Then I listened to your recording and decided to re-record my one:
