Due to gear acquisition syndrome, I'm already looking at the next digital piano to replace it with. Pricing in China is pretty varied depending on source country of manufacture. For example, the Kawai VPC1 is 17600CNY ($2850 USD) but the CA15 (same action in a cabinet) lists for 8990CNY ($1450).

VENDOR LOCATION: UK VENDOR NAME: Reidys PURCHASE DATE: March 2014 - - - - - - - - - - - - - Well, I had again the chance to try a CA95 and just couldn't stop myself. Had a good year bonus, Reidys offered to take back the CA65 at 100% price I paid, and I exchanged it for a new CA95. They don't currently sell this model, so they ordered it specially from Kawai. So, total paid was £2,238, when the normal UK price is £2,639 because most shops simply sell at the same prices. Reidys match the best offer around on the condition of it coming from an UK seller. That is, the real saving was around £160, as I gave up bench and headphones and traded in the CL25 and the CA65, but paying £2,238 instead of the standard £2,639 was extremely good considering the quality of this piano. As I currently live in a detached house, I have decided to make the best of it and enjoy the acoustic board as much as I can... and by the time I get back to Spain I know I'll have to limit it but will already have a decent repertoire.  I can really recommend Reidys, they are true to their promise of matching UK prices, the service was fast and the communication great.

Wow evamar, that's a great deal! So to be clear, you found another retailer selling at £2238? Where was that, out of interest? Is Reidy's local to you, or was this a distance transaction?
I can't see how Reidy's can make any money on this, since they'll lose many hundreds of pounds when they try to sell the CA65 second hand. Still, at least they have a satisfied customer!

I have paid £2,238 in total, but that is because when I bought the CA65 I had asked to leave out the bench and headphones and I traded-in my CL25, so I paid £1,500 for the CA65. Then I put the CA65 against the CA95, and the total paid for it was £2,238 because they took the CA65 at the price list before deductions and against the value of the CA95. So the difference was £738 to pay, but keeping in mind that I had already gotten my deal with the CA65. It was a distance transaction. The cheapest I have found the CA95 is at Thomann, but Reidys only matches the price of UK sellers. In the UK the cheapest would be www.waltonsteventon.co.uk at just under £2,600. I'm happy that they took the CA65 for 100% of its value, so I still kept most of the discount they had given me for it when I changed it for the CA95. And yes, the CA95 is amazing, much better quality of external sound than the CA65.
