I'm looking for a decent hammer weighted keyboard for mainly studio use and a little stage later on.
The Kurzweil SP5-8 is just about my thing, had a test drive yesterday, action was very good, sounds are okay for a digital.
Who owns this keyboard and can tell me if it 's any good?
Any alternatives around 999??
thanks!

Around 1000 there are few alternatives from what I know.

You might get a good deal on a Kawai MP-6 now that the MP-7 is out.

Other alternatives would be a Casio PX-5S or the new Studiologic Numa Stage which feature actions that are more "piano like".

All of these are engineered towards stage use and will not offer the latest & greatest regarding sound and action.

Best regards, Thomas
