Hey everyone! Here's a clip of a piano collaboration I did. This is my first video so if you guys have any tips on editing as well as different angles to use let me know! Thanks a bunch.

Kevin and Joanna,

Absolutely gorgeous and delightful rendition of some top notch movie music! You had me from start to finish! Thrice!!! Once with video, twice with audio only. Kudos to both of you for creating such beautiful sound!

As to tips regarding the video editing--are you looking for mechanical tips or creative tips? The presentation format you have chosen, called a "VideoSong" was pioneered by a group called Pomplamoose. (You are up on that, right?) They said, "A VideoSong is a new Medium with two rules: 1. What you see is what you hear (no lip-syncing for instruments or voice). 2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (no hidden sounds)." If you are looking for inspiration regarding creative angles, cuts, and screen distribution, and you have never seen/heard Pomplamoose, go to their YouTube channel and study their progress. Start with an early recording, like "Twice as Nice." Then, check out their more recent "Pharrel Mashup (Happy Get Lucky)" and you'll see what a few years of keeping at it will do! grin I have a feeling you two are headed in that direction, fast! laugh If you want any advice, mine would be this: Let the music be the most important thing, and the video ideas and editing panache will follow. wink

People, if you haven't taken the time to listen to this piece by Kevin and Joanna, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by this delightful piano/violin collaboration. It's worth checking out.

I love this movie, thanks for playing this! Beautifully done, and it's really cool that you did it all over the internet.

Hi Kevin,

What keyboard is that, and are you using a sound library or the built-in piano sounds?

Nice video.
