I don't know why, but every year for my birthday I take care of one thing that I have been putting off that bugs the crap out of me. I try and make it a productive day instead of just eating sugar and fat all day. This year I spent several hours re-arranging the great room where the piano is in an effort to finally dial in the acoustics. I'm happy to say that I think I may have found a spot where the piano is not booming all over the room and actually sounds pretty good so I'm happy with that. I spent the rest of the day picking up garbage as I accidentally left three bags of garbage out over night and the ravens tore them apart and now I have shrimp shells and chicken skin hanging from the tree branches! In addition to all the garbage cleanup, I also filled in numerous weasel holes in the meadow as I lost a garden glove down one the other day while depositing the gift of moth balls to flush them out. Always something around here. Anyway, thanks again for all the birthday wishes as they are much appreciated. You guys are the best.
