You know, I play a clavinova clp320 that has two nice organs on board. Normally I play pianosonates of Mozart, Haydn etc. This morning I took the organvoice like the 8' 4' 2' feet baroque organ and the full organ. Played choralpartitas of Georg Böhm: Ach wie nichtig, ach wie flüchtig: nr 4,5,6,2,3,8,1(perhaps a little in a hurry, knowing my iPad recorded it) Freu dich sehr, o meine Seele Jesu du bist allzu schöne ......mmmm..nice..reminded me to my time being a churchorganist 1967-1988.....Nearly became religious again..... By the way...Böhm was one of teachers of Johann Sebastian Bach.... Best regards Johan B

Enjoyed that; had to wonder about you turning the pages backwards . . . .Good voices on these Yammies. You wouldn`t know the difference and I could hear key noise.
You always get key noise on a (non electric) pipe organ.

It sounds wonderful!
(I think you meant "sacred." "Sacral" means having to do with the sacrum which is the region of the low back.)

Actually, "sacral" is perfectly fine to use when referring to things sacred (it has two meanings).
Lovely, thanks for posting!

Lovely, thanks for posting! Hi JDW, I doubted it, so I listened to Malkin..... By the way......the music of Böhm is so beautiful. There are also nice choralpartitas of Pachelbel and Johann Godfried Walther.....I love to play it also at the piano....it is 'sparkling' music, phrasing it on the good way....... Best regards, Johan B

Jdw is correct; I looked it up. "Sacred" does have the advantage of being unambiguous!
I've had enough lower back problems that when I hear "sacral" it usually involves pain and ibuprofen.

I've had enough lower back problems that when I hear "sacral" it usually involves pain and ibuprofen. Changed it again....in sacral....... Cheers, Johan B
