The Healing Power of Music & Joy of Playing Piano

Powerful and poignant. Worth your time to watch and listen. A wonderful story about the healing power of music, the joy of music, and the joy of playing the piano.
We are so lucky and so pleased to have both Robin Spielberg & Robin Meloy Goldsby as members of our piano forums.

I am watching it now. Some evocative phrases:
"disappearing into the piano..."
"composing... the soundtrack of my life..."

Many others musicians on the forum and off have had a glimpse of the healing power of music. My original music has helped me through some dark times in my life. A friend says that his original music saved his life.

Ditto, Sand Tiger-

Music saves me every time. Whenever I play my own compositions, or, my favorite compositions by Bill Evans, I go to that place, that sacred place. It makes me reborn. It relieves me of all the pain I experience in life. It reminds me I am here and alive.

Thank you for this.

Music does all that and much much more.

Music has saved me many times.

When my (original) music touches someone, it is the most amazing feeling in the world.

Music is the universal language, and as old as humanity itself.
It is the one common bond we have across all cultures.

I feel honored and privileged to host a web site dedicated to music and musicians.
And I am humbled by the talent of our members and guests.

Please continue to create and share your music.

I just finished Robin's book, it's a great read, no matter what kind of music you enjoy!
