Spotted this on the Tech's forum. Although directly OT for this forum I find it interesting and relevant in the context of advances or changes, and it also diminishes some of the disadvantages of a normal acoustic, grand or upright (weight, tuning skill, upright action). Would love to try it.

A shame he decided to sing...I wanted to hear more of the piano. It was very quiet though. I like loud smile

This is from the same producer of the gigantic upright piano that was then sampled by Native Instruments as The Giant. So if one day they sample this, it could actually become quite on topic for this forum, in addition to being quite an interesting idea...
