This week I will buy my new Roland electronic piano. My budget is ~1500$CDN.
At first I was looking for Yamaha P-255 or Roland F-130R. I chose F-130R, better sound, better feeling, more advanced options / features same price.
Then, the salesperson showed me RD-90 and RP-301R ... The RP-301R seems to be older (not even on the roland website in their current products) so I removed this one from my list.
The RP-90 is in rebate, they reduced the price of 400$. This reduction brings the price of the RP-90 near the price of the F-130R. The fact the F-130R is brand new and the DP-90 is 2 year old. The difference between F-130R and DP-90 is not a big one. The only difference seems to be in the keyboard PHA-IV and other minor improvement.
I have seen on this forum that there was few things needed to be improved on the DP-90 (which are corrected in DP-90e) (but did not find any information on this regard)... Does the DP-90 would be a good purchase or should chose the F-130R ?
I played with a casio ctk-611 ( casio CTK-611
) for the last 5 years ... So anyone of the electronic piano will be a great improvement. I learned on acoustic piano, so I would appreciate to find an equivalence in sound and on the keyboard.
