Today I tried ONE Papp's mute tuning. That's only mute the outer strings of tuning note, tune the single chord to tri-chord. Tune a while day get this result. The first half day counting beat rate without success. Finally, tune the intonation, seems rewarding.

Suggestion and pro and con of this tuning method are welcome.

I need only one to tune treble and it can be inserted between 2 strings, or on the side of the unison.

not use in mediums generally. (and only for vertical /upright pianos)
