Hi again:

If I decide upon a particular digital model, after proper research/testing, etc., should I expect that the digital piano delivered to my residence will be BRAND new? I mean, for acoustic pianos, usually, the model you play, is the model you get. I assume, I should ask if I will be getting a brand new, un-played one, right? If they say no, I should not settle for the floor model, should I?

thanks.

If you for example try out a digital piano in the store and say "I would like to purchase this model", you should without any excuses whatsoever get a fresh, brand new unopened piano delivered (with that comforting "new" smell smile ).

If they want to sell you the floor model, make sure you get it discounted and that you check every key's action thoroughly.
However, this is only if YOU want to buy that because you can get it a bit cheaper.
