I'm meeting my current teacher for last lesson. Not sure what parting gift to give her. I don't want to give her anything music because I don't know what she needs, and books/CDs I give her might not be her taste/preference. I love the idea of flowers, but opted it out because a former student of hers just did that, who's my friend, so this idea is not new....

Thanks for your help.

I'd keep it and buy our piano teacher a nice long vacation somewhere tropical with fruity drinks.

Really can't go wrong with flowers. The things that have always meant the most to me though and what I keep forever are personal notes of thanks. Sometimes we don't know how much lessons were enjoyed, especially when a student discontinues.
