Hello all,

I've been playing on a Yamaha E413 for a few years now and have decided its about time i purchased something better.

I'm looking for something with good sound production, weighted keys and ideally more keys (88 if possible) but perhaps more important for myself light up keys.

I know a lot of you will say the lighted keys are a waste of time but i have trouble reading sheet music so often find myself using synthesia to learn a piece. I really think lighted keys would help me a lot.

I've been looking at Yamaha and Casio so far but they are not always clear on the light up functionality.

The Yamaha DGX-650 really appeals to me but after reading around i'm 99% certain it doesnt have the light up feature?

Casio seem to do a few in the privia and calviano range namely the AP-150 so i dont know how this fairs up to others?

What keyboard(s) would you recommend based on my requirements?

You can add lights to any piano with this:

If that approach works for you, you can then pick your board based on other considerations.
