Hello,
I listen and look for movie scores that feature piano, or a prominent piano track within the score. Im looking for suggestions from those of you who are into this. As an example, right now Im listening to Revolutionary Road End title by Thomas Newman. I find the voicings used to be hauntingly beautiful as well as the orchestration around the piano theme. Another is the piano/keys in the film Pay it Forward, Desert Drive. Very cool.

I not only search for this in mainstream movies, but in Documantarys, short films, etc. Places not so mainstream, as you never know where you will find great music.

If you come across any, or have favs, Please post them..Id love to check them out.

And if this is something that has been gone over or posted, let me know. Ive searched but could not find any threads...Thx.

Very interesting thread!
I have a few suggestions:

- The Piano (even though I didn't like the movie at all) has a couple of piano only pieces, including this

- Her (one of my favourite movies), which contains this two piano only piece (very lovely, both of them)

- Amelie, with a few piano only pieces

- The Pianist, where I think the entire Soundtrack is piano only... not OST though, mostly Chopin

Then I have a couple of suggestions from animated movies, like

- Spirited Away

- Howl's moving castle

- Lupin Green vs Red

I'll think of something else
