#2316242 - 08/16/14 12:53 PM App for music tracking? Something similar to "Goodreads" ?

I use the "Goodreads" app to keep track of books I've read, and those I want to read. It lets me categorize them into lists if I want, and I can share the lists with others if I choose. I like it because when I'm in the library, garage sale, bookstore or wherever I might buy a book, instead of just browsing, I have my "to read" list with me on my phone.

I was wondering if there is any similar app for keeping track of music I might want to learn? My 'to do' list is getting pretty long. Of course, a spreadsheet does the job too, but I was wondering if there is a better way.

No luck searching in the app store, but maybe I didn't have the right search term.

Could you set up another Goodreads list? How would it know the difference between Charles Dickens/Tale of Two Cities and Saint Saens/Dans Macabre?

With GoodReads, since it uses a huge database, I can search by author and find new books by that author that I didn't know about. If I manually add my own entries that are non-book items, I wouldn't have that feature.

So, yeah, I could do that, but I'd like some of those extra features. Like searching for music by the same person, or in that genre, or at that level of difficulty. I just thought if such a tool existed, someone here might know of it.

Right now, I just have a spreadsheet. That sometimes gets updated.
