I've visited a few local Guitar Center, Sam Ash, and Kim's piano locations in southern california looking to play test either a Roland RD-800 and/or Kawai MP7 as these two models seem to have what I'm looking for. My problem is I have not been successful so far with any local stores, preferable around Orange County, with a demo unit. Of course I can order sight unseen but I prefer to play test first before making my decision. If you know any local retailers around SoCal (LA, OC, San Diego) with a demo unit on the show floor please let me know. Thank you in advance.

I would suggest calling Roland US @ 323-890-3700. They should be able to point you in the direction of a retailer with some stock who is near you.

I'm sure that Jay (along with every other product manager in recorded history) is quite accustomed to hearing different customers assert "X" and "not-X" with equal conviction. - slowtraveler

Delphian2001, how about Pierre's Fine Pianos on West Pico Blvd., or ER Music Gallery on West Olympic Blvd.?

Cheers,
James
