The last one - the Casio - is OK. The PX range is even better value - try the PX 350.

As for the others, they look a bit too good to be true at that price. I expect the appearance is a great deal more enticing than the feel, sound and fine details of them. They are modelled on Yamaha, Roland and Kawai upright imitations which cost upwards of £2000.

Have a look at what people think of this organisation. Reviews and all that. There is a similar company selling own brand pianos that seemed very unfavourable. I think I'd have to try them first and compare at least with the mainstream pianos. The Yamaha and Casio will certainly do the job.

...oh, sorry, I didn't see the Yamaha YDP 162 before - yes, that's a pretty good piano for the price, as are the Casio AP and PX ranges. They feel different though. Some prefer the Yamaha GH keyboard, others the Casio, which is remarkably good for the price.

Stick with the established brands: Yamaha, Kawai, Roland, Casio.

The OEM'd models may look attractive, but you will likely be disappointed by the keyboard action and sound technology.

Cheers,
James

Ok, now I increased my budget.

Casio Celviano AP450

Yamaha Clavinova CLP525

Kawai CN24

Yamaha Clavinova CLP535

Kawai CN34

Is there a real gain from Celviano to CLP525 and CN24???

CLP535 and CN34 would be over my budget. There is much difference from 525 and CN24???

I saw Kawai Cn 24 and 34 have the same mechanics. The Yamaha 535 has different mechanics compared to 525.

wrt the cn24 vs cn34 it depends on what you want to do. if mostly just piano the cn24 will be fine. the cn 25/35 is coming soon so that will impact pricing.
