This time I have ventured to a true classic song for guitar - Hotel California by The Eagles - and did my very own piano version. I'm really curious how you like my instrumental cover and I'm looking forward to your comments wink

Very Nice! Thank you for sharing.
Did you learn it by ear? If so, you could try and learn the intro from the live acoustic version, that's the only thing missing from an otherwise wonderful cover.

Tahnx for your kindly words ;-)

Yes, I played it by hearing. Do you have a link to the live acoustic version you mean?!

I was referring to this one:

I can play parts of it on the guitar, but I haven't tried it on the piano yet. I've been meaning to, but I get distracted by classical pieces too much grin

I really enjoyed listening to your piece! Nicely done.

Yamaha P105, Ravenscroft275, Ivory II Am Concert D, Sennheiser HD650.

New sound setup: Midi out to macbook, FW 800 to Metric Halo LIO 8 DAC to HD650's. Very Nice.

Very nice. I learned the chords on guitar a while back and started to mess around with it on piano - this is one of those songs that translates very well to piano. I dropped it, but am now inspired to relearn it. Thank you!

Very, very well done. You took a revered classic and made it your own, while remaining true to the song.

I enjoy your playing and hope to do it as well as you one day.

Very much like that!
A very rich sounding and evocative version, full of feeling.

That Roland sounds fantastic too. What model is it? Did you amp it in any special way? Incredibly realistic.

Keep it coming. Thank you.
