I'd be interested to know amongst those who tweak their Ivory patch, what is your dynamic range set to?

I used to have it close to 50 but lately it's between 30 and 40. Don't remember the exact number. I don't do any editing to expand the range later but I still find this range to work well.

For me the most important part is that it should be quite difficult to play really soft which is the case on most acoustics. I add a silent key of about 10-15 on the velocity curve to eliminate the ppp range. And on the other end I don't want to be hitting the keys too hard to get more volume because it's damaging to my hands (and also unlike an acoustic).

It would be nice to hear what others do because I'm just making it up as I go.

Good lord, I have no idea what you're talking about, but I feel like I'm supposed to.

I just made my first audio file with Cubase and Ivory Am. D, and I feel like I must have totally gotten it wrong.
