But this is also nice I would think you blow the windows out if you pull that organ open a 1929 Kimball 2,300-pipe pipe organ, how did he get that? Any idea if the sound we hear is from the actual organ in there? It sounds pretty good.

OP David Farley 1000 Post Club Member Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 1,667 Chicago, Illinois	The story (down somewhere in the comments) is that he was an auto mechanic who didn't play and bought it from a church. But then he made some organ technician friends who expanded it for fun. Not sure if that's the organ playing or not. It would be hard to mic it that close and not pick up a lot of mechanical noises. I think the zimbelstern sound (the revolving bell thing) is real.
