Interesting, and kind of funny in some ways. grin

What's the deal with that orchestra there? ha
(The 'connector' between the Andante Spianato and the polonaise)

Also: You can't take the bow after adjusting the music stand. grin
(Take it while they are applauding, when you arrive on the stage.)

I guess it was something you planned -- to bow right before starting to play, but that's not a good idea. No big problem -- it was kind of cute, actually grin -- but not how we're supposed to do it.

Now, finally, about what's important smile -- the playing.

I like your basic approach to playing very, very much. You do so much that is interesting with the rhythms, especially with waiting, and lingering. I remember a quote -- don't remember who it was originally from, maybe Clifford Curzon; whoever it was, I got it through Seymour Bernstein: "Wait as long as possible before playing every note -- but not too long." You're great with that. And, there are many many places where you do little unexpected rubatos and other turns of rhythm. I love it. (Even when I disagree with it!) smile

But, as I'm sure you know, there is still much to work on. It's very interesting in terms of "technique": You seem to have excellent basic technique, but there is just too much that you "mess up" in the piece, places where your fingers just don't do it, and sometimes with very odd wrong notes. It gives me the impression either that you don't have much time to practice, or that you are at a relatively early stage with the piece. Or maybe something else, like that it was nervousness, although you didn't seem particularly nervous. Whichever it is, you seem to have the basic abilities needed to bring the piece to a still higher level.

Also, sometimes your impetuousness gets the better of you. Most of the playing is nicely stylistic and nicely delicate where needed, but sometimes you "pounce" on chords or octaves or phrases, sometimes suddenly in the middle of a passage, and the impression is sometimes crude. The excitement is wonderful, but better to watch it a little more. smile

Thanks for posting! You play very well, and I think your potential is large.

This was a bit weird. I mean that orchestra part.

Also at times your hands and the audio were slightly out of sync.

How was the audio recorded? There was pedal sound sometimes.

I think that came along with the "pouncing."
