Brrr indeed! Glad to hear you are feeling better and back on the trail, but wishing the weather was a bit kinder for your return.
Less than 500 miles to go - everything is relative I guess, because I find myself thinking "only" 500 miles, and yet what a huge distance that is.
Jenny in Lazy Fox B&B sounds like exactly the sort of person you want to be running establishments along the trail, I'm glad she looked after you well when everything in town was closed.

Sam, I was impressed with you when you started this venture. But now, after seeing all those photos of you hiking 20 miles a day in the deep snow, I'm ready to nominate you for super-hero status.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement evryone. I'm at 2048 miles now with just 137.3 miles to go. Weather permitting I should be done in 8 more days, and can start playing piano again!
