Ahem... well I'm better, the pukeage has stopped, still coughing and weak. Thanks to the well wishers on PW. sick

I have quit my lessons with Paula because one lesson a month was not working too well. Lack of regular feedback was a big problem with that. We parted on good terms. smile

The best news this year!! I got a spot with my second choice teacher from before. A former music major with 20+ years teaching piano. 45 minute weekly lessons for $80 per month. And, and, and my lessons will be on her beautiful Kawai Grand GX6. Not sure about that model# but it's around 7' wow laugh

I am practically ecstatic. I'm so very happy, I'll be starting the week after Thanksgiving. YAY!

Back to my nest now.

Hey, sounds great! Good rate, good lesson length and frequency, and a cool piano. thumb

that is good news regarding health and lessons, I enjoy weekly lessons and could probably not benefit from a once a month lesson. Even although many weeks I feel my lesson has been of no practical use, they always draw my attention to the problems at hand.

Surprisingly easy, barely an inconvenience.

I am so glad you're feeling better - and even happier to hear that you've got a new teacher that you really wanted to study with!

I hope this works out!!!!!

Thanks everybody for the good wishes. Man this flu is a real ugly one. I think I'm feeling pretty good and get up for awhile and BOOM all at once I crash again. Throat feels like I've been gargling hacksaw blades from this dry hacking cough and I'm pretty sure my nose is ready for primer. I got in about 18 mins on the bench today in two sessions. smile But anyways it's nice to have the sympathetic voices here. Hope Sam's doing better too.
