Hi there!
Yesterday I walked around to test some digital pianos around. I have recently sold my Kawai ES5 and want to get a new one. This time I want it to be a CONSOLE type as I think it is more suitable for applying proper piano technics...
As far as my understanding, all these 3 models have proportional damper pedal.
Bluthner is expensive and I am not sure how accurate its action. CA 15 seemed to be a very good option until I put my hand on CA65. The action difference is like a sun and moon! The action of CA65 is awesome...
And I have also found a GEM RP800 and it is a brand new, closed box item, the seller has only one left and giving a serious discount. He also offers me its brand new mother board for keeping as a spare part just in case.
The sound of RP800 is still unique and great.
I have two main questions;
1. Do you think the action of GEM is up-par with the current actions and if yes, with which models? Do you thinnk it is suitable for learning piano? I am not a professional pianist by the way. I suppose ( from its user manual )that it supports half pedaling...
2. What do you think about Bluthner eklavier 1-2. Eklavier 1 has plastic keys. I can buy Kawai CA65 with the same money. I just couldn't judge how good it is... I suppose Bluther is a bit overpriced and do not know for what...
