The keys on my P105, mainly between C2 and C3, are very loud when pressed in combination with any key. When pressed individually, the key responds fine.

I took the board apart and cleaned the contacts and wiped the circuit board with alcohol, but that didn't solve the problem.

I then swapped the contacts from that range with contacts taken from the end of keyboard, but that didn't solve the problem either.

Im going to buy some replacement contacts first, as that is the cheapest option, but Im starting to worry that the circuit board for the range of keys (there are 3 of them) maybe the problem because this piano isnt even 2 yrs old and the accumulation of dust inside was minimal when I took it apart.

Is there anything else i can try to rule out the circuit board?

No warranty? Usually for at least 2 years . . .I had a piano once that started making the most awful noise at random intervals. It turned out to be the circuit board. Inj those days, there was only about one circuit board in there . . .

Sorry I can`t be more helpful.

Can you transpose on the P105? See if the problem stays with the key or the note.

If the problem exists on the same key, hence different note, after the transpose, its likely to be the contacts.

After taking SpanishBuddah's advice to determine if the circuit board or the contacts was bad, I ordered new contacts.

Knowing that i had new contacts coming, I was like, what the heck, so I opened the keyboard up again and gave it another try.

Seeing that swapping the contacts and wiping everything with alcohol didnt work for me, this time i submerged the contacts in warm dishwashing soap and water for about 10-15 minutes.

I also got an old soft bristle toothbrush, dipped that in alcohol and GENTLY scrubbed the circuit board that the contacts was attached too a few times over and then wiped off any excess alcohol with a towel.

I then took the contacts out of the soap and water, gently wiped them off and placed them in the open to dry. I checked them for any trace of water, then reattached them to circuit board.

Its been a couple days now and the velocity issue has not returned.

Thanks for the suggestion SpanishBudda, and I hope my experience helps someone.
