Goodness Norbert, you must have a big desk.

The secret lies in the size of pianos that Norbert stocks.

Not if you analyze specs for the last 20 years. It's actually just a nice little pile.

It's not a secret at all: take your pick.

Norbert,

You mentioned having over 100 pianos on your desk. Earlier you had mentioned a variety of 9" concert grands available today. If the nine incher is the largest size you stock, that would explain how you can accommodate more than 100 pianos on your desk.

Take a deep breath. It's a joke.

Your new showroom looks terrific.

Michael, Piedmont Pianos in Oakland carries the full line of Yamaha pianos, including the CF series. Surely they have at least one CFX.

Wrong.

Yoshi's probably rented it from ProPiano

The CFX at Yoshi's may have been a Yamaha concert reserve piano. They are kept in a warehouse that the movers operate.

I've never seen a CFX at Piedmont. (Which of course doesn't mean they don't have one somewhere).

@Terminaldegree:

I'm not Yaju's advocate (yes, I'm, smile ).

When looking at Yaju's schedule at http://www.yujawang.com/schedule/, I "allow" her to depend on score, once in a while; especially when I see that she works in a "entertainment machine", she would move from one continent to another with a whole orchestra, a lot of things and people are involved in her presentations, so when she is not at her best (jetlag, headache...), she can not simply cancel the concert. In this case, I prefer that she does everything necessary to give out the best of hers.

Errata: Yuja, not Yaju.

Sorry Yuja, your advocate defended the wrong "youja".

Note: I can not edit my old post (timed out), and have to post a new one, to spell correctly Yuja's name, as my respect to the pianist.

It was going ok until the trumpet came in. Ugh...
