A lot of jazz talk is about melody and harmony, but usually not as much about rhythm. I've devoted this analysis/demo (with annotations) to rhythmic displacement, ostinatos, polyrhythms, etc since I believe the most important but often overlooked part of jazz improv is rhythm. Based on feedback, I wouldn't call this a tutorial, but maybe some intermediate to advanced students can actually learn something from it.

Also, there is a bit on using solfege to play in different keys (at the end).

Thanks! Yeah I added the part with solfege mostly so my students could see why I train them that way but it does make the video a little long
