Does anybody know if there are any recorded performances of any of the pieces in Bach 'n Roll? I haven't found much in youtube except for small snippets in a teaser video produced by Hal Leonard. I received the book as a gift and will probably try to learn some stuff from it. I'd like to find videos to help select which ones I'd like to try, as well as to gauge my own progress. Thanks.

Well that's the thing, there really aren't any BWV numbers. The book is a collection of creative re-arrangements of pop songs from artists such as The Beatles, The Police, Stevie Wonder, and some others, but re-imagined as if written by classical composers. The guy who made the arrangements was commissioned to do so, making this book the only place to find the exact compositions within it, also making it difficult to find any performances of them.

I wasn't expecting to find much through the forums that I wouldn't have been able to find on YouTube or Google, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Edit: Song List

This is the only one I know of (and only because it was performed in the BBC Proms as an encore laugh ):

I'd guess that if the composer/arranger has copyright, you won't be able to find any YouTube videos of it (unless he plays it himself), unless he releases it into the public domain.

And maybe you could request the composer via his contact page to add similar videos for his other compositions from the same book.

The youtube video is just a teaser/promo video with snippets from the pieces in the book.
