Love my VPC1 but it recently developed an annoying buzz or rattle when the keys bottom out. Happens when you press any key. If I apply a little pressure to the top or the back of the case (just rest my hand on it while I'm playing with the other hand) the buzz stops.

There's a loose something somewhere and it seems like it will be a pretty easy fix. Can I open this thing up without voiding the warranty? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Let Kawai repair it, as it is still under warranty.
Request an replacement unit, for the duration of the repair.

Makalajala, yes definitely give your dealer/distributor a call and request technical assistance. Opening up the VPC1 yourself is not recommended and may well void the warranty.

Kind regards,
James

Ugh. The pitfall of online purchases. I think I'll get a nice heavy bust of Beethoven and set it on the piano. Saves the hassle of packing the thing up/being without for weeks, etc.
