geniuses always say that. I asked Eldar when he was 15 how he got so good in Turjeekistan and he said "I listened to lots of records".

Asians can play fur elise at 4 years because they are like forced to learn a musical instrument from a very young age(As young as 1 year old).

More evidence of the value of listening to the jazz musicians one admires. I think they more than threw a record or CD on. They actively listened, with minimal distractions, and continue to do so.
