Has anyone had a chance to play the new 50'' Charles Walter upright? I should rather say has anyone seen it? I had heard that the new model should be out before the end of the year.
If anyone is in the know, any idea in what range the new piano will be priced?
and if it is not too much asking, what is the best one can hope for if shopping for a new upright (> 48") in the 8-9K range?
I have a U3 that served me well but I have been thinking about upgrading to something better (german?) and for lack of better term, less perky.. warmer in tone but yet with a good enough volume.
I know I should get the Larry Fine book and do my homework, but I would much appreciate some input.

The Walter 50" is not out yet. In my discussions with them I am now not expecting one till the new year. When? not sure.

I have been given a price that I will not disclose at this time. In case something changes.

But I will say it is way more reasonable than I had expected and I am excited to have a few in my possession as soon as they are available.
