Add two to the confirmed list. We've got the reservations!! We'll be on the train from Munich on July 2nd and Staying and leaving on the 5th. This sounds like a once in a lifetime event. SwissMS thank you for your planning on this party. See you soon.

I really wish I was writing to confirm, SwissMS but not quite yet. It looks gorgeous where you live. The venue you are preparing also looks nothing short of spectacular. I very much want to come but it is still a long shot for me. But then again, so was Portugal last year.

I am in a new Sales career, and my sales were terrible in 2014. I barely cracked the poverty line. I am getting off to a much better start this year, but have a way to go. My mortgage, unfortunately still must take priority.

Good for you all that are confirmed. Hope I can make it and meet you (see my friends again I first met last year, and all the new folks coming this year). Looks like it is shaping up to be quite an International presence.

Please keep me in the really really want to come list for now. I will advise as soon as I am able to.

Same for me. I've no news to report, so keep me in the "maybe" list... Time is running and I know I've to make some decisions soon.

PS: SwissMS, you are doing a terrific job organizing the event; everything seems so beautiful and well prepared. I know this is a hard job, but I think you're doing it perfectly. Congratulations! thumb

We've just started planning for holidays.
At the moment, it's difficult we can participate to EPP 2015 (I mean, torquenale +3)
The place is fabulous, but also quite expensive; and the exchange rate does not help frown
It's still possible I can participate alone, but it depends on several things, first of all when we are going to take our family holiday.
I think in the next few weeks I will be able to tell you something sure.

I hope you make it torquenale, I would love to see you play Le Petit Negre which after your last recital, partly inspired me to begin to learn it (maybe that was not the wisest move on my part smile)

Surprisingly easy, barely an inconvenience.

I hope you can make it as well, torquenale. The change in the exchange rate was a shock, and definitely makes Switzerland more expensive. Hopefully things will normalise my summer!

Here is another link for Lucerne. This one includes web cameras so you can see what is going on here. Currently we are in the middle of Faschnacht, which is Carnival. We have all kinds of monsters and fairytale creatures prowling the streets, and the Guga bands keep it very loud and off-key! It is fun though. I have a piano lesson in Lucerne today, I hope I can here the piano!

Anyone else booked accommodation? I know it's still early stages, but would like to get an idea of where people are staying so I can at least be fairly close by, if not at the same place smile

I would really enjoy attending the next European Piano Party, in 2016. I would go this year but I'm all booked. How do I find out about the next one. And I hope everyone has a absolutely wonderful time. Bill

Damn: Wish I had learned about this before we booked our cruise. Would love to attend one of your EPP's. So instead I'll strap my 76 key practice keyboard to my back and we fly to Dubai where we meet Holland America's MV Amsterdam sailing to Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece and Italy and winding up in Ft Lauderdale 38 days later. Maybe you'll should consider haing a CSPP - cruise ship piano party, we'll get the ship to provide us their Grand piano in the ship's theater. But Oh, I do wish I had heard about this before we booked that cruise, but on those long sea days I'll get a lot of "hands alone" practice done, unless I'm lulled into a little nap or two. I heard someone mention Australia, that would be extremely good too. So how do I find out about that? Bill

Hi Bill,
as you see this thread is in a forum for member events.
The EPP has been set to be the first weekend in July every year.

Next year it is going to be in Italy - but we haven't set which city yet.

So you can be sure of the date, and the country, and by October or November of this year we'll be talking about the next party!

Hope you can make it to that one!

Ok, I found one more videos to show you. With Einaudi as a soundtrack, the first one has to be good. It shows the room that we will be playing piano in!

The second video give more information about the region and the town of Luzern, and what there is do while you are here.
