I tried it, it's really cool. Shame the store didn't have any Casio boards in stock. It seemed to stack up rather well against the SP280 discounting the speakers.

It does sound like a lightweight ie no guts. I`m sure it`ll sound better than that in the flesh . . . might pop along tomoz and see what Friendly Local Dealer has in . . .

Has Yamaha thought through how this ipad app is supposed to work if one is also using an app like iRealPro or a reading sheet music app on the ipad. Seems like a lot of work with switching programs. Much as I like this piano, not at all sold on the app idea, plus my expense of upgrading my old ipad.

Come on Yamaha, GHS key action again ? Are you not tired to sell the same piano with some cosmetics improvements for decades, the sound is bad anyway in this class.

So what I gather from these responses is that the P-115 is definitely not worth it, right?

In this last video, which one is the P105 and which one is the P115? They practically look the same.

The board on his right (viewers left) is the P115.
At a quick visual comparison, P115 has logo on the front and P105 does not.

EDIT: I just noticed P105 has a logo by left speaker. P115 logo in the center
