It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Congratulations on receiving your degree Recaredo! I'm sure that has kept you very busy.
I'm sorry about your family situation, however. I'm sure it is difficult to get accustomed to. I'm hoping that the new year will be a time to get through the process of healing and adjusting.
I've become obsessed with the music from Frozen lately. In particular 'Let it go', it goes around in my head and I find myself singing it all the time.
Great to see you back, Recaredo, but what mixed news. Congratulations on your degree, of course, but it's always sad to hear of a family breaking up.
I have spent many a late hour recently enjoying some astronomical views with a new eyepiece in my telescope. One of the wonderful sights in the wee hours is Jupiter passing by Regulus in Leo and viewed best around three in the morning but glorious in a clear sky and frosty night.
I hope this bringer of jollity fulfils its purpose for everyone here.
Here's a little something to reflect my mood. I shall be leaving shortly to visit distant friends (of my wife) but I'll be back this evening if there's anything going on.
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I'm sorry I haven't been around very much. It's been working a holiday season!
Richard, thanks for the post. Check you PM regarding Rachmaninoff.
Right now I'm preparing for a short performance for some friends at a small gathering today. I'll let you know how that goes. I'm hoping to share some music. However, I've been having problems learning some new procedures with my computer. I'll give it another try.
I've been listening to this a lot lately. I have come to really appreciate listening to all three movements together.
Yikes! I lost track of time again! I must be off! Later!
Nice to see you all here and Thank you all for the New Year wishes. Congratulations on the diploma achievement, Recaredo. Sorry about the sad news. Nice to know you have excellent support though, and staying with Piano.
I liked the theme, Richard. Similarly this one reflective of my mood today. Funny, the week started off so great, but then progressively deteriorated from there.
eeeeeeee, 'video not available in your country' (Germany)
XXXVII-XXXVIII I pray, that tomorrow I may strive to be a little better than I am today - and, on behalf of everybody else, I give thanks for headphones.
LOL thanks.... Bach in replacement of Manfred Mann? Is lovely though

The Manfred Mann song, later done by their renamed Chapter III and called Travelling Lady, was used in the sixties to advertise Manikin cigars.
The Air on the G String was used by a rival cigar maker, Hamlet. The air was usually played when things had gone wrong and the sad victim lit a Hamlet cigar in recompense. The slogan was 'Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet'. As Manfred Mann didn't play for you, this was meant as compensation - Happiness is...
I just found the Tchaikovsky Capriccio Italian further up on this page, now that is real music for my ears
So, is this a 'music sharing post'?? I never knew. Well, I'm slow like I said.

Hi Richard and everyone! I just finished my umpteenth recording for the ABF recital. I'm beginning to see why I prefer doing a live performance instead of recording. Yeah, I'm frustrated with it having unexpected mistakes. I'll have something submitted in time for the 15th, however.
Right now I'm going to take a break and listen to your music contribution. I'll probably send you a PM either later today or Friday. Thanks!
