Of course I mention the forum at the piano groups! I don't know if anyone from Meetup has joined over here as of yet, but I'll ask around on the 21st...

Snow! It says 3-5" in the Springs on Sat, and some snow all along the way on Sunday, but if it stays warm enough that shouldn't be a problem. I'll just keep an eye on it smile

Uh oh, SNOW!!!

Forecasts are for a big snowstorm in Denver this weekend, with a foot of snow expected.

Do we want to go ahead with February 21st or reschedule for 1-2 weeks later?

I know a big snow would keep any out-of-town guests (jotur, FarmGirl) from attending. It could also make travel difficult within the Denver area.

We can go ahead with Saturday if most of us expect to still be there. Let me know your thoughts!

Neutral for me. I defer to people who have further to travel.

Best wishes-

I'm not going to make it, sigh, so don't let me get in the way. My roof had a leak in it and there's a lot of water damage to the closet and carpet so we're trying to get that fixed. I have no idea why people build flat roofs in Santa Fe, but there you go.

But I haven't seen forecasts for more than 3" in Denver, and 3 - 5 in CO Springs, so if I *could* come with no water damage to worry about I don't think the snow would stop me, from what I see.

Of course, I might make it to CO Springs and then they'd shut down Monument Hill laugh But I haven't seen a foot forecasted.

I was thinking about recording what I might have played and sending it up to the party laugh

Prediction looks pretty bad. I can do 3 weeks from tomorrow if we change but not 1 or 2. Your call. It's getting home that may be problematic.

Due to the snow, as well as a few people having to cancel due to unrelated issues, I have rescheduled the piano group for Saturday, March 7. Looks like that may not be good for WiseBuff. How does this date work for everyone else? I'll also await updated RSVPs / feedback on the Meetup group. Let me know if March 7th is better, or if we should shoot for another Saturday in March.

Hello,
The afternoon (i.e. 2 PM start) of March 7 is doable for me.

Best wishes-

Yay! The weather is cooperating, so tomorrow - Saturday, March 7 - is the next Denver Area Piano Group get-together! If you haven't RSVPed here or at the Meetup group, please do so before Saturday morning so I can make sure there's enough food for everyone!

I'll have an acoustic grand piano and an electronic keyboard set up. See everyone tomorrow!

Looks like I'll miss this one this time around.

Look forward to seeing some images and hearing some music.

Have a great time, all.

+1 Thanks, Colin. It was nice to see/hear everyone again, and to meet some new people, too. What a great mix of musical styles. And singing! That was really fun smile Thanks for letting the New Mexico contingent hang out up there.
