Very nice and what a great view out the window. I really like my CP4, although I'm not playing at anywhere near your level. Are you using the CFX sample?

After listening to you play I forgot the question. Truly impressive! You must have been playing since age 4. The CP4 sounds very good. I purchased the CP5 just before the 4 came out.

More a Chopin / Liszt medley with a bit of Mario at each end, wouldn't you say? Good skillz. Why did you choose the CP4 over the RD800, MP7 etc?

Welcome to the forum VikaKim!

Congratulations on the purchase of your CP4, and for sharing these enjoyable arrangement with us.

As others have noted, that's a wonderful view from your window - I'm assuming somewhere it's somewhere in Seoul?

Kind regards,
James

I would rather know what the OP VikaKim thinks of the CP4?

My flabber is gasted.

You may need to prove you`re human at this point. . . .

I take it you`d like to work for Yamaha . . .but whatever you play is going to sound good.

Look forward to you demonstrating the latest DGX . . .

Altogether a beautiful performance. Are you inspired by the view? It's almost as impressive as your playing.

This was shot on a Panasonic LX-100 4k camera. But on my laptop speakers I am having a hard time hearing if we are listening to sound of the CP4 through the Yamaha monitors in the room, or if it's going direct to camera. Either way, it sounds quite good, and yes you're technique makes it shine.

It looks like the on board record light is on, although that doesn't necessarily mean that's what's being heard in the video.

I'd be amazed if this was taken from the camera's (or even external) microphones, even given the quality of HS5 monitors. It sounds direct to me

I think that this is a very smart bit of surreptitious viral marketing. The playing is great, and the setting spectacular, but notice the careful rim lighting using what appears to be a pro piece of lighting gear reflected in the window, plus all Yamaha equipment in shot. Also, unless the pianist is a renowned virtuoso or married to a financier, the average player who frequents these forums is unlikely to live in such a high-rent, high-rise apartment! Of course, I could be wrong, but we haven't heard from the OP since she posted the two links - no discussion, no input on other subjects. That said, I'm still in awe of her skill.

VikaKim, was this video produced for marketing purposes?

+1 to voxpops question.

Can't really believe someone living in such an apartment would actually buy a stage piano with some ugly cables hanging from behind and hooked to monitors. Real grand piano - sure. Real upright - sure. AvantGrand or Roland V-Grand - sure. Even a Kawai CS/CA series is plausible. But a stage piano - yeah...

We must all be such armadillo-plated cynics these days. Such a pity.
