Hey

I am searching for some suggestion for books with interesting arrangements of different folk songs or maybe classical songs inspired by folk songs for piano that are at a late-intermediate level and would be worth learning. Do you have any such suggestions?

About the level I'm not sure.

I have just the thing. It's a book of folk melodies turned into baroque suites for intermediate players. I found it in a bargain bin here in L.A. give me a sec I'm not at home...

Found it: Baroque Folk Willard A. Palmer Alfred Publishing

Amazon has it in paperback for less than 10$ or as a download for a little less. My old edition was a dollar out of the bin. Beware: My old piano teacher didn't think much of the arrangements or the fingerings but it might be fun to have a go at some of them. I'm still meaning to get to them but some injuries have set me back in ability and practice time.
