I don't mind atonal music I just don't understand why the rhythm has to be hyper-complex and also why the time signature must change eighteen times per page.

That was the strangest finale I've ever seen to a kickstarted project. I don't think I've ever seen an angel investor step up like that at the 11th hour before. Very cool, congrats!

Well... I will repeat that it would've been impossible to pull this off without YOU guys! And without the angel investor, as Kreisler said.

Polyphonist: Have you actually heard the stuff that we publish? Most are hardly atonal, unless you mean something else by the term. In any case check out "Piano Stories" and "Cool Beans" and you will get your answer! grin

THANK YOU ALL!

I agree, although you know we're risking showing our age. ha

Worst: Conan and Andy Richter.
Although Andy was so bad (did absolutely nothing) ....that it was GOOD. I liked watching it to see him do nothing.

And of course Ed McMahon got criticized for doing absolutely nothing. Not true! For example he did stuff like this.... grin

Well, the original purpose is no longer relevant, so of course the thread degenerates into this. ha

BUMP!

Hello to all,

I'd like to publicly say a huge THANK YOU to all of you. For your support, for your continuous effort to make a contribution (looking at you Mark! grin) and generally to everyone.

Here's a video of me and Myrto having some fun in my studio...

I should note, that one of the two composers that've yet to deliver their score is me! grin So... hehe...

Finally, I guess some explanation about the final surge of money would be in order.

What went on is quite simple, but broken three ways.

1. Quite a few people in Greece are weary of credit card fraud so they did not want to offer their funds in kickstarter. As such they offered us cash. A total of around 1500 euros were gathered, which were put into kickstarter on the last day by my parents.

2. In addition to that, a serious amount of money was put forward by my brother.

3. Finally, some people who really loved me upped their pledge considerably.

all of this made the campaign a success and the project possible, to its full potential.

So in allTHANK YOU!

Thank you all!

(Trying to keep up with the demands of the publishing house, but it's turning into something bigger than I first thought... I'll keep you posted about this...)

I'm doing yet another bump to post a picture and remind anyone who's not provided an address to do so.

Scores and CDs are ready and shipping!

I was wondering why there was a large package with Greek stamps in today's mail... Nikolas, the score is so beautiful, gorgeously illustrated, and so clear! A phenomenal job.

I was about to practice, but now I have to try at least small helpings of some of these pieces, and the CD later tonight.

Thank you for inviting PW participants to be a part of this.

Elaine,

Thank you SO much for your post!

It's been a long journey, and it's not over yet... There's more to come.

I'm very glad that the quality and beauty of this project meets your expectations. I take special pride in what I do, but as always I can't be the best judge of this... I mean I'm simply to attached to every score coming out from us.

In any case enjoy and I'm honestly looking forward to your opinion on the music itself. Personally I find that this is music that could work very well in a full recital, in a concert hall, etc. Perhaps even in auditions and so on. It's something that I've been listening, myself, even though now the job is done, the recording edited and mastered, the CDs out. smile

Finally thank YOU for participating and for your support (and to all the members here). Without you this project would never have gotten past the wishing stage, as far as kickstarter is concerned! smile
