I do little finger exercises. I am just happy I can add up one more now and then because it means I am relatively at ease with the previous one. I do the first part of Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star, and the singing melody of "Softly as I leave you", which I got note by note and I'm waiting to learn about chords to figure out how to fix them with the notes I have. I am not sure about this, but that's how it seems to me at the moment.

All in all, I am very entertained doing simple exercises. smile

Now and then, I try to improve at sight reading, but only like once a week or so...

Today I managed to do the F Scale in both directions!

When I did the C Scale it was harder and only did it to the right…ohh today I also did that one to the left! smile

Neither is perfected, so tomorrow a bit more. smile

Working from 8:00 to 21:00 sounds boring indeed. laugh Can't you take the piano there?

Today I was worse at the F Scale. The good part of it all is that I've come to peace with myself accepting how long the road is… laugh

Are you uploading "Best songs ever" to Youtube? I am searching for versions of those songs to inspire my learning. smile Edit: Just noticed your signature..will have a look!

Going through pieces in J.S.B.'s 2nd wife's notebook.
Good for memorization and sight-reading training.

Will do some R&B for a while. Give the classical a break.

Thanks for sharing your recording, Johan! Well done! :-)

Started of with scales (all three c minor ones) and technique program (a small piece for left hand only from Ludvig Birkedal-Barfod and Czerny op. 299/19).

Afterwards I played Bach (French Suite No.5 in G major, BWV 816, Sarabande and Guige) and tried the first measures of Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu (mostly left and right separately). The 4 against 3 rhythm is giving me a hard time...

And Schuman's "Wild horseman" (got that as an extra task from my piano teacher and should be able to play it within one week only... not sure if I will manage that). ;-)

Best, Cat
