Those of you looking for a free DAW to record your piano musings, you can check out v4 of Traction (the official up to date is v6).

I personally never cared for Traction because it gets away from concepts I'm familiar with from analog mixers, fx sends, channels vs. tracks, etc. But fans like the new approach to DAW layout and say it's easy to use.

Worth a shot if you have difficulty wrapping your head around the usual Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, etc.
