It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
I had to laugh when I first saw that I had sheet music to it But I need to start getting some "newer" stuff in to my rep for retirement/assisted living places because folks my age are going to be there soon!
I hope to actually play it differently from the sheet music, which has a pretty straight-forward oom-pah bass. One thing, at least at this point, that I think the sheet music got right is that it uses 6ths, instead of the high harmony 3rds. They've got the high harmony on vocal line, but it really doesn't sound as good as the 6ths with the harmony in the bass. Besides, it's easier to wail on the 6ths But I hope to use more of the guitar fills than the sheet music does.
I can't help but see all us 5th graders out dancing in the schoolyard when I listen to it

Perhaps "more music" is always the answer, no matter what the question might be! - Qwerty53
Right now listening to every instrumental version of (Love Theme from the Godfather) or "Speak Softly Love". So far I've listened to piano, guitar and brass. This is my current song I'm learning!
Will do some R&B for a while. Give the classical a break. You can spend the rest of your life looking for music on a sheet of paper. You'll never find it, because it just ain't there. - Me Myself
