It's a great board, I use headphone jack most of time. But when i connect headphone / speaker to the Output jack on the back, no audio on both: L/Mono and R. I have also changed the sound from stereo to Mono, no luck. Anyone knows what's going on? Thanks!

Hello yukimister,

May I ask if you have already raised this topic with your Kawai dealer, or the Kawai distributor in your country?

Also, what kind of speakers (brand/model) are you attempting to connect to the MP7?

Kind regards,
James

This is a little complicated, however I believe Thomann and therefore Kawai Europe are responsible for product support.

I do not have any experience with these speakers, but they appear to be intended for connecting to computers or MP3 players.

Kind regards,

That is correct, but it works with headphone jack.

I'll reach Thomann and Kawai Euro. Will be bring an update later.

My comment is not meant to ridicule you.... Are you plugging a headphone STEREO 6.5mm jack into either the left mono audio 6.5mm jack output and/or the right mono audio 6.5mm jack output?

The left and right audio outs require MONO leads.

I use a left and a right mono 6.5mm jack lead in the audio outputs of my MP7 and at the same time I can still get sound from the stereo headphone output.

I hope you can solve your problem.
