G-major: A very brave beginner - who played beautifully. I believe this lovely arpeggio-style piece was called "Clouds".

Dinner along the canal again, with the whole group. I don't think we stopped talking at all, except during (some of) the piano performances. (It should be noted that at times we were encouraged to talk during someone's performance! )

On the last day we went for a brunch cruise on Lake Lucerne, it was wonderful (well, really, what WASN'T wonderful on this trip???)

Our great thanks to SwissMs and G-major for the time and energy they dedicated to this weekend, and their generosity in going the extra (vertical) mile, to get that piano up the mountain.
I can not imagine how it could have been a happier time.

It was wonderful to meet those we've come to know at previous parties and get togethers, and to finally meet others we've been talking with for years now.

Back in Germany, where they have something I didn't find in Switzerland: Trains that run late, and have non-working air conditioning. But I got home safely.

I think you can upload the videos for your YouTube channel and then, share the link over here.

I am in the process of uploading the videos to Youtube - but they will all be unlisted. I will send a link via pm to each participant for their recordings. I also have a video of everyone singing Over the Rainbow that I would like to post here, plus I would like to make a video of short clips of everyone's playing. Would that be OK with everyone??

I finally have some video available. Here is a medley of the players, followed by the group singing "Over the Rainbow as the finale to the party. I had a fantastic time hosting this party, and can't wait for EPP 2016!

Thanks so much Swiss Miss for all the great pictures and music from all the music makers. Singing Over the Rainbow is the best.

Yes, Italy in 2016.

The precise location has not been settled, but given that the active Italy based members are all in the north, it is a safe bet that the party will be in one of our towns.

We will be chatting about it in PMs - probably not til the dust has settled from this party and then we'll make an announcement as to the exact location.

For anyone interested, the date is always the first weekend in July, so next year's party will be on 2 July. Most folks arrive on the Friday and leave on the Sunday or Monday.

Well, it's understandable that I won't be able to commit to anything right now, but count me on the VERY interested members list!
