So, i've been having this problem for some ține now....i cannot find good sheet music for non classical songs anywhere în The Internet.
None of The sheets i find sound like The actual song i'm trying to play, and i suspect copyright having something to do with it.
So why can't i find good sheet music, and how do you learn to play non classical pièces? And sorry for any mistakes, english îs not my first language.

A lot of popular music is still in copyright, so you will not find it on the internet. Also, most printed popular music is simpler than what you may hear played. You have to learn to add your own touches to the music. It takes time and practice to learn to do that well. A teacher who specializes in the style you like would be of help.

I picked up a second hand music collection with sheet music from 1900 to about 1960. A good investment at $10 for a couple of hundred songs.

I also just bought a few sheets at a charity second hand book fair, all 1920s and 30s. Cost was $2 a sheet.

In Australia we have a free site called Gumtree that allows people to sell or give away unwanted items. I have enough now but will still keep an eye on it.

Ebay is another option but sellers tend to think they are selling collectors items and put unrealistic prices on old sheet music.

Newer music can be had in books with up to 100 songs but they probably do not have good piano arrangements. Cost is reasonable though for new books. Again, second hand prices for books are usually well above a realistic price.

I am planning to use the large collection for sight reading practice. The big disadvantage of really old sheet music is the musty smell.
