Been searching my usual places for a nice 2106 calendar for my office without much luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

A few years ago there was a proposal that people post photos of their nice pianos. Not sure what happened. Anyway, you could collect your own set of nice photos and bring them to the shop where they can assemble a calendar for you.

I think you are a bit early for making the 2106 calendar though. Probably nobody knows what a piano is by then wink

How about if we collect a number of nice pictures right here (just link them in)? Then we can pick and send them off to the printer easily.

I suggest that sticking with the really high sharp high res pictures so that we get really crisp prints.

If I suggest a print size of 15 by 11 inch for the pictures and 150dpi, I get a minimum size of 2250 by 1650 pixels.

We should check the images, just googling for 4k sized piano images does not cut it as many of them are noisy, 70%+ out of focus, or seem upscaled etc

Please link directly to the original hi res image. That way, people can right click/download the ready for print image right away

Please double check if the images are real photos. I have already seen 3 images that look very nice but show fake under closer scrutiny. Things like weird shadows, contrasts, noise differences etc might start looking annoying if you have them a month on display

This would be good for an entirely different style of calendar. I'm not entirely sure if this is rendered or real photo.

Not necessary, it was already done dozens of times and not only on the beach!

But nobody else stepping in for more photos for a calendar?

That is really interesting. It looks like the architect took Christopher Wren's Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford as their inspiration. (The organ is at the back in the Sheldonian.) There might be some kind of keyboard there in the corner - not sure.

Yes that's nice too! but the pic is too small for use in a calendar and I can't find a bigger copy.
