Congratulations to our Winners![/b]

(Original contest info is here ... http://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/topic/11/24.html )

Everyone who entered is a winner to us, but we only have a limited amount of prizes so...

We are awarding prizes for 1-5 place.

Because there were multiple winners for 2nd and 5th place, the winners in these categories
are listed in alphabetical order (by screen name).
I've indicated the winner's choice for their prize if I've heard from them.

The prize winners in our Post NAMM 2007 Picture Contest are:[/b]

1.) lkplatow = 27 - - Package # 6
----------------------------------------
2.) a: mr_super_hunky = 14 - - Package # 7
b: ShiroKuro = 14 - - Package # 8
---------------------------------------
3.) jon-nyc = 13 - - Package # 5
--------------------------------------
4.) Helen&Ken = 6 - - Package # 2
--------------------------------------
5.) a: CPTpianotech = 5
b: loveschopintoomuch = 5
c: oldcars = 5

To Claim Your Prize...[/b]

Winners get to chose one package based on the order of winning (see Prize Packages below).

This was Steve Cohen's suggestion, and I agree. As he pointed out, people might well have a preference in
which piano companies stuff they'd like to have.
This is the only way we could figure out to make it fair (we will come up with a better system next year).

Which means ... lkplatow has first choice, followed by
mr_super_hunky, ShiroKuro, jon-nyc, Helen&Ken, CPTpianotech, loveschopintoomuch, oldcars IN THAT ORDER.

If you are one of the winners listed above, you have to WAIT YOUR TURN to pick your prize package.[/b]
Of course, you could try to barter with one of the other winners, that's between you :-)

I will also mention this post in our next newsletter, coming out shortly.
I'd like to get this all wrapped up by the 17th, sooner if possible.

As a winner, you will need to send your information to me (I will forward it to Steve), please include:
Screen Name
Forums Member #
Real Name
Full Address
Prize package #

Send it to webmaster@pianoworld.com , put NAMM 2007 Contest in the subject line.

Below is the list of "Prize Packages", you may choose ONE package when it's your turn.

Our thanks to everyone who entered, and to everyone who took the time to vote.

A special thanks to Steve Cohen of Jasons Music Centers ( jasonsmusic.com ) for coming up with the contest concept, and gathering the majority of the prizes.

The 2008 Post NAMM Contest will begin in just a little over 10 months :-)

Congratulations to all of your winning pics!

Bigtime loser here...but so what? It was fun to see all the entries.

You can bet though that any small child entering my view near a piano will have a pic taken for next year's entries! Along with any animal and cranes that carry pianos. LOL!

Thanks Steve C and Frank B for the fun.

I want to thank everyone who voted for me. As per our original agreement, your checks will be mailed out upon receipt of the M&H mug, pen, and signed brochure.

I am not set up to remit any monies via paypal, however, if you accept visa, I could expedite your payment and could use the miles as well.

Thanks again.

It was tons of fun! By all means, let's do it again next year. That gives me an entire year to come up with something outrageous!

But how are you going to top this year's pic for outrageousness?? \:D I think you would have won hands down if that was the main criterion.

I'm glad to see that I voted for one of the winners, although one of the lowest ones. I won't say which, though. :p

Wasn't anything outrageous about it, I wanted to see how my new Isis wings looked with that costume, so I had my wife snap a shot when I was on my way out the door to a gig. The piano just happened to be there, making it apropo for the contest. Standard procedure for a new cossie, prop, or accessory - you sure don't want to go onstage with something you haven't tried out. It might tangle, fly off, break, get stuck, etc.

I still haven't performed with the wings - most venues are too small for them.

More on topic, I still think ShiroKuro had the best picture! And I can't believe someone hasn't claimed the Bosie coffee mugs!

Actually, I did send a private message to Frank and Steve that I would like them. But, I'm #8 out of 8, so I guess I have to wait my turn and get whatever is left over.

I agree it was a fun contest.

PM sent.

Thank you for sharing. I know my morning coffee and Sudoku time will be that much more enjoyable!

Wonderful ice storms that we just experienced. It's been so cold that we are adding Prestone to the Dampp Chaser ;\)

Joel,

I have 2 Bosie mugs that were sent to me (by BoseEric, Eastern Regional Sales Manager).
I'm going to send one to you, and one to Ken (of Helen&Ken).

All claimed prizes should be shipped in the next day or two (I know, it's about time).
