Hi all,

I've recently started making piano covers of known songs, i also compose my own music. However, I always wanted to add energy and complexity to my performance by adding runs and advanced piano techniques. Does anybody have any idea on how to learn or create complicated runs (like Kyle Andry's techniques) ?

Please Check my Cover of Writings on The Wall:

I would really appreciate your feedback on every aspect of the performance

Do what Kyle did...Get a good Classical teacher who has a strong background in, and focus upon, piano technique, and stick with it until you can play as you want to. There are no shortcuts. frown

Kyle Andry was taught by a Classical Teacher. From Kyle's website:

Kyle Landry is a classically trained pianist and composer from Methuen, Massachusetts. His career in music spans over 15 years, and includes original works for film, animation, video games, and his own album releases. He holds a degree in Composition from the Hartt School of Music where he studied under concert pianist, David Westfall

Kyle's Website Bio page:

Piano teacher and Blues and Boogie-Woogie pianist.
