At first, I thought it was a replacement for FP50.
But it looks more like a newer version of F20 in FP package.
At this price, it could be a new good beginner model.

I like to see built-in Bluetooth as a standard feature on a DP. Can come in handy.

This comes in a bit more expensive than a PX-160 or P115 right? The WAV USB recording is handy that I think both those keyboards lack.

Yes, a bit more expensive. Roland obviously priced and designed the FP30 to compete with the other popular three DPs in that range. Regardless, it's great to see these manufacturers offering affordable quality DPs.

$499US Casio PX-160
$599US Yamaha P115
$699US Roland FP-30
$799US Kawai ES100

I think they have a winner, i really like the action of the RD800 keybed, and this is the same.. also the piano sounds come from the RD800...

I dont think anything can beat this price, i think its sensational...

Nice action but not the same as RD800:

Hi, this is a really face to face competitor to Kawai ES100 in key action, sound and weight (portability). Good job Roland....!

I don't think Kawai has much too worry about, but it is healthy competition. Especially if they drop the price of the ES100 to $699. OR ES200 comes out with Bluetooth, line outs, and Harmonic Imaging XL wink

True, but as with the ES100, I expect the Phones jacks will be more than adequate for outputting to speakers or a PA.

I wonder why they do this, it must be a marketing decision considering the trivial cost of putting a feature on a decently priced digital piano. I guess they're gunning for the home audience and really want to up-sell anyone who wants to gig.

Despite no dedicated line output, it's really not a deal breaker. These boards are still gig-worthy with some limitations. Not to get off this topic, but check out Voxpops findings on gigging an ES100 @ Kawai ES100 - Gig report

Looks like an interesting board that may dethrone the ES100. I notice they stripped away the GM2 set and rythm section that the F130R has. A bit sad because that would've made it competitive with the PX360 too.

You mean the first video? Probably a Roland KS-12:

Hi, i agree Marko... if KAWAI release an ES200 with an improved tri-sensor version of AHA-IV key action, bluetooth, line outs, and Harmonic Imaging XL sound engine, low weight and low price, KAWAI easily will destroy any competition in this price range. Have a nice day...!
