I currently own a Kawai MP7 (great board!) but have a question about the MP11 model. Being that is has four audio outputs (2 balanced and 2 unbalanced connections), is it possible to route a bass patch through one pair of the outputs and a piano patch through the other pair? Thanks!

Polkahero,

No, I'm afraid not. The tone generator sends the same signal to both types of outputs.

The only 'solution' (although not terribly elegant, and not really requiring separate balanced and unbalanced outputs) would be to hard pan the PIANO sound to either the left or right channel and the BASS sound to the opposite channel. Unfortunately this would mean that the stereo image of either sound is discarded.

Kind regards,
James

Thanks for the reply, James! Are there dedicated mono piano and/or bass patches in the MP11 so this could be accomplished without any loss of fidelity?

Yes, the UPRIGHT/MONO features two mono piano patches: 'Mono Pop Piano' and 'Mono Concert'.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
James
